How You Can Help:

In November Typhoon Haiyan hit the shores of the island of Leyte in the Philippines with the strongest recorded winds in recorded history. The results were devastating. In response Impact Nations partnered with I Thirst International and the Ugandan Water Project by immediately sending two teams to distribute water filtration systems and create community safe-water centers. These filtrations solutions will save thousands from the greatest threat after a disaster of this nature, water born disease. Below you can see pictures from the teams time serving in the Philippines.

This May, we are taking a team to the Philippines to continue the work of restoration for these devastated people. The team will be headed into the disaster zone, where thousands of people have been left without shelter. As a part of this Journey, the team will be constructing temporary housing for those who've no safe place to live. Each house costs $495 and consists of wood walls and a sheet metal roof. These structures will provide safety and security from the elements for families for years to come. Let's work together to raise the resources so the team can provide 20 of these structures while on the ground this May.
